Beautiful views perfect for easy hanging out on the deck. Quiet area and lots of The kitchen was very well equipped for home cooking and extras like salad dressing, hot sauce, cream for coffee in fridge were helpful and appreciated
Arrived to learn the pictures don't do this beautiful respite justice. PJ's Lakehouse is a stunning place with ample opportunity to unplug from the noise and hectic pace of every day life. We took a few days to reconnect with family in the area and have lots of great memories and pictures to keep this experience in heart and mind until we can return again. ❤ Stunning views and welcoming hosts. PJ's Lakehouse is most definitely an experience you will appreciate.
Charlene and Ricks’ cottage is beautiful and is well located. The cottage itself is comfortable, and they have done an amazing job to ensure that your time is maximized with local insider knowledge and suggestions in the cottage manual. They are quick to respond and great to work with. An amazing family getaway, and we hope to return againng campfires by the water and watching the sunset over Lake Huron. We have all returned with wonderful memories of our holiday.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was stunning, the cottage beautiful and we loved Charlene's decor items - all interesting and unique. Furnishings were comfy and the beds enabled great sleeping, and we appreciated that we could each have a room to ourselves. Four separate outside seating areas (counting the beach) gave a wide choice if you wanted sun or shade. Two beautifully appointed bathrooms were perfect for four long time women friends. We made breakfasts and lunches and went out for dinner, although all the cooking supplies were provided. Her book has lots of information about places to shop and eat; and we took Charlene's sunset suggestion for Goderich. It is an easy ride to Blyth for dinner, some shopping and a play, but the location is perfect for just hanging out. I had been concerned about the many stairs to the beach but the graduated boardwalk path was great. We also tried the grassy incline just up the road. A ideal location for a getaway with family or friends
This is a real gem - very clean and well set-up for a group of four or more. We were very lucky with the weather so spent most of the time on the beach, using the two kayaks and swimming in the crystal-clear lake, but the home itself would be very comfortable for indoor time as well. Love the two patios and the ample outdoor furniture provided! We had a truly amazing time that exceeded everyone's expectations.
Very clean, pictures don’t do this cottage justice. Gorgeous views of the lake.
